MARVIN GAYE RECREATION CENTER
On behalf of the Department of Parks and Recreation, the Department of General Services ordered this project which included the demolition of the existing single-story recreation center and construction of a new recreation center with approximately 10,000 gross square feet.

This project consisted of the demolition of the existing recreation center and replacement with a much larger new LEED Silver Certified recreation center with rooftop urban farm, full-sized gymnasium. The renovation was also proposed to include playground spaces, multi purpose athletic field, new outdoor athletic courts, fieldhouse, fencing, and landscaping. Improvements to the existing basketball court, tennis courts and soccer field were also included.
