The Kennedy Center Expansion project was the institution’s first new construction since the iconic landmark opened in 1971. The funds for $175 million project were raised under the “Building the Future” campaign. The proposed expansion included three land-based pavilions and a new pedestrian bridge to connect the Kennedy Center with the Potomac River waterfront. DMY was hired to observe the installations of the waterproofing system for this project.
