Kennedy Center Expansion Project

The Kennedy Center Expansion project was the institution’s first new construction since the iconic landmark opened in 1971. The funds for $175 million project was raised under the “Building the Future” campaign. The proposed expansion included three land-based pavilions and a new pedestrian bridge to connect the Kennedy Center with the Potomac River waterfront. DMY was hired to observe the installations of the waterproofing system for this project.

DGS 2015 Summer Facility Repair and Maintenance Activities

The District of Columbia Department of General Services proposed to renovate eight existing schools located in Washington, DC. DGS retained DMY Capitol to facilitate the summer construction activity. The initiative was to make sure that students, teachers and staff would have the best possible learning and working environments when classes resumed. The DMY project team consisted of properly certified technicians, a project manager, and a professional engineer registered in the District of Columbia. The scope of services included Construction, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Elevator and Fire Protection.
